E-waste or electronic waste is created when an electronic product is discarded after the end of its useful life.
Electronic waste or e-waste may be defined as discarded computers, office electronic equipment, entertainment device electronics, mobile phones, television sets, and refrigerators.E-waste is the Toxic Legacy of our Digital Age.
WHAT IS OUR PROCESS
A zero discharge process based on hydro metallurgy has been developed to treat Printed Circuit Boards a key component present in electronic waste. The process involves recycling of all effluents coming from the process reducing the impact on environment and focusing on developing a value added product to make it economically attractive. The technology has been developed and demonstrated on a laboratory scale. We are now setting up a demonstration unit with the help of industrial partners.
