A zero discharge process(no emission) based on hydro metallurgy has been developed to treat Printed Circuit Boards a key component present in electronic waste. The process involves recycling of all effluents coming from the process reducing the impact on environment and focusing on developing a value added product to make it economically attractive. The technology has been developed and demonstrated on a laboratory scale. We are now setting up a demonstration unit with the help of industrial partners.
